HICAS Fluid

Hi,I'm the proud new owner of a 300zx twin turbo 2+2

What I want to ask however is my HICAS seems to be very low in fluids after driving quite a distance to fetch the car so i'm guessing it has a leak.

I'll fix that ASAP but would me driving the car with the warning light on and low in fluids for quite some time cause any damage?

Also in some 300zx FAQ's they say you should use Power steering fluid and then others say no you must definitly use Automatic transmission fluid.
Which one is it? and does it change the answer for which year the car is? and what region the car is from? or do all 300zx's across the board use one or the other?

Thanks alot

Beez

this is a case of RTFM. owners manual says use Dexron ATF. dont use a "power steering fluid". nissan designed the car to use ATF. that is all you should use.
