Hid lights

you have to be careful with sales gimmicks. i researched them for a bit before i decided i didn't care to have them, and i found (i'm fuzzy on terms and numbers by now) that they will often be some massive wattage or something to sound good, but as it turns out, the best and highest output set up is actually around 4500 watts or so.
also, a lot of cheaper kits don't last too long if used often. sometimes a year or less.
i just concluded though that i didn't care to have my DIM lights any BRIGHTER. brighter bright lights would be ok, but not worth spending money on. dim lights are already as bright as they can be without impairing other driver's vision. waste of money IMO.
BTW, an actual good, high quality, appropriately designed system for our cars is around $2600, the whole set up from a '99 jspec z. any less than that, and you're sacrificing longevity or performance. same as with any parts for our cars lol. they really do demand high end parts.
