If you can handle a ratchet properly, I think you can do it.

lol, it's just a plastic decorative piece, yes you can drive w/o it.

I'm still getting used to my Z32. Its a HUGE difference going from a Z31. I didn't want to take it off and have some james bond crap happen and my car burst into flames. That would be my luck though.

OMG DON'T DRIVE YOUR CAR WITHOUT THAT COVER! The flux capacitor will fry the entire electronics system and teleport you back to the stone age.

Actually, if you remove the part and carefully remove the sticker and sand it smooth you will get better results. At least to a 400 or even a 600 grit, then high solid primer to fill the small scratches. then the paint will hold nicely and look better. Or you could just primer and spray bomb it and take your chances. If you have never painted before you may wish to ask someone to do it for you or sample your skills on something different first.

Good luck and post your results.

Did you even look at it before posting on here? lol. It's a simple matter of removing bolts and picking it up in your hands. I spray painted mine with some extra caliper spraypaint that I had. Just tape off any logos you want to keep untouched and spray away. It's that easy. For the Nissan logo you can just spray it and sand it afterwards with some fine grit sand paper.

I know we all need to start somewhere ...

but man, some of you guys should go back to your "Erector Set" and "Lego" for a bit.

One of the cables and pulleys are what links the gas peddle to the throttle bodies the other is for the cruise control.

If you don't know what it is, It must not be important is what I say!
And we all know, if it isn't important it's just dead weight so just remove it!
