haha...no it was about the same....it was raining hard believe it or not. And don't forget, I live in NorCal as well. So it's not like I'm ignorant to what hard rain is...I also lived in Georgia.....ANY CA rain doesn't compare to GA rainstorms.

Allmyzs-you lived in the Bay Area before. That traffic problem you mentioned happens here also, usually the 1st time it rains. Nobody understands that oil floats on top of water and takes some time to wash off the road. People just don't know how to drive out here.

It gets back to that selective reading thing I spoke about earlier. Plus, it was so far off topic that I couldn't see how it was tied into anything.

Total lack of imagination. I'm disappointed in you Emu. I was merely stating that we had gone off the beaten path. We were so far off that I had gotten lost in the all the horsecrap. I wasn't playing kiddy cop, and trust me when I say it would not be a good idea to have me be a deputy moderator.

I'm glad that you can finally see where I'm coming from now. Do it once, and you get a label...ha!

I drove my car today!!!!

I was pleasantly surprised to find that after a little over 2 months the battery still had a good charge. The car started right up. No slow cranking, or anything. I was quite glad. It's definitely been a long time. My car felt all small and confined. But it always feels that way with gloves, boots and a large winter coat on. LOL
