Welcome to ZDriver!

It's in pretty rough shape, but most any "road worthy" car is worth $1k.

The question is: Are you able / willing to pay for and/or do the necessary repairs? (which are always higher than calculated).

if you have the patience of job, body work skills, good mechanical/electrical skills. Otherwise it will sit in your driveway also while you say got to get around to fixing that.
Offer 500 and pay the few bucks to get the fender fixed.

Best advice I can give to anyone buying a Z is always follow a simple rule of getting the BEST package. Make sure it's the 2-seater TwinTurbo 5spd. Don't waste any of your time/energy/and cash on something that doesn't fit that critera. If you can't afford it, save up, it's worth buying the right one rather than creating a frankenstein on your own, you'll pay more and you'll have less...wayy less that if you just bougth the right one.

Be weary of buying a 300ZX their not cheap cars to fix! And if that car hasn't has its 60K Timing belt change its past due on that and taking that into a shop to be done is an easy $500+ But if that belt snaps that engine will need a few grand in repairs at shop rates. And early Z32s have a few weird quirks thats were fixed in later years.

Not trying to scare you away from them tho as they drive amazingly well and are really quick! For that price I'd buy it honestly. Tho I would haggle a bit to try and come down.

Though I agree that 5 speed TT is the best one, that is what we want. There seem to be a lot of people out there who are happy as can be with the NA's power. If you are someone who might end up wanting a TT, definitely just save your money and wait to buy the best TT you can.

Also that damage looks like it'd be pretty expensive to fix, and if that's pearl white, extremely difficult to match. Having said that, I think I would still go for it if I was wanting an NA.
