there is a check valve

in most cars its in the nozzle itself so replacing it will probably stop the leaking, if not im sure you local autoparts store sells a little check valve that you can put inline behind the nozzle.

it's not the nozzle, it's the check valve. Under the hood, there's a white check vavle right before the nozzles... replace it (it's cheap). It's entire purpose is to stop that from happening, and they do go bad.

Eh, when I first got my car, the front wash sprayed the back window and the back wash did nothing... turns out some genius connected the front washer to the rear hose and left nothing connected to the front washers

my first thought when it happened to me which is dumb now that i know where the resevior is located , was that the engine was getting hot and heating up the bottle causing it to boil thus squirt out the nozzle lol am i the only person who thinks of the most retarded explainations and then later looks back and is like what the hell was i thinking. haha

I have the same problem. Especially when I break hard and accelerate hard.

to everyone who says they have the same problem... take the advice I gave... replace the check valve. It's not expensive, and believe me, I KNOW how IRRITATING that problem can be when you're cruising around after just having washed and waxed the car... to stop hard only to see water drip across your hood, then drying in the sun and leaving ugly water-marks.
