My N/A to TT/Auto to 5spd

Here is my Z i picked up for 5000.00 from a older couple. Like the title says it was a auto n/a but after a coulpe of months and a good deal of money shes a 5spd TT. Im happy shes where she belongs the TT family. Im not saying anything bad about NA, I just think there is a world of difference between NA and TT. I already have some stuff done to it. # inch down pipes and test pipes, flashed ECU and Jim wolf intake. Im just trying to decide what exaust to go with.

If she runs as good as she looks, you have an awesome car there. Great find and great job.

Just Know what your getting into before you do it!!! I cant stress that enough!! I mean, all kinds of stuff comes up... Just be ready! (I had to fix my post, thats why "you dont talk while your typing"). Anyway I think if you have the tools and the knowledge then do it yourself. Its way cheaper that way. But if you dont, then dont even start it, because in the end you'll have to take it to a shop anyway. Its gonna cost you alittle more, but atleast you know its gonna run. Please stick with a shop that knows what there doing, or has worked on Z's before. Ask to see some of thier work, work, neatness and reliability is most important. And please have them quote you with a within 500-1000 dollars of the final price. With the understanding things will come up and have them call u when they do (to clear any futher cost). If I were to do it over again i would have chosen Z1 motorsports, just because they do so many. They pretty much know what to exspect going into each swap. That will save you alot of trouble shooting money in the long run. Believe me, little shops will charge you if they cant get it running (Hmmm you do the math???). They get the motor + they do the install= you pay out of your pocket for them to trouble shoot???? Thats fair??? Anyway have fun with your Z, and happy swaping...Come over to the TT darkside!! !!
