Good luck with that man. I hope everything goes well with your project. BTW, no big deal, but you rear driver's side wheel is on the wrong side. My car was the same way when I bought it so I guess not very many people notice it. The wheels are directional to help cool the brakes.

I'd have to say that's probably the least of his worries.

Ok goos luck man Hope the best. Luckyli I'm doing the same swap to my 93 N/A. I'm Buying the motor trany turbo's ECU and Everithing in Betwen and so I think. for 1800$ I guess I'll still have to buy the aftermarket radiator ACT clutch and fly wheel. new Courtesy Nissan motor mounts, and from what I can see a whole lot more. but I'll probably just wait for the Front clip for 2400$. but good luck keep us Updated I'll tell U if I have any suggestions on body work. my brother and my friends mine's looks b*tch*n even though it's primer. good luck. :burnout:

now that someone mentioned the wheels, now would be a good time to just check and see that he has two lefts and rights.
I've heard of ppl buying Z's with all lefts or all right wheels.

Why are you apologizing? I hadn't even noticed it. I was still trying to understand how someone selling this car could possibly think that it's in good condition. I'd alreadt have a plane ticket to Florida. Now, with point that Rizz made, wouldn't that be the icing on the cake.

Bardabe-I thought you were selling your Z.

I thought you were implying that I was pushing the guy to fix his wheels when he has bigger things to worry about. Didn't mean for it to sound that way, just something I noticed :burnout:

Well i guess i'm gonna have to buy intercoolers or an intercooler for my car, great thats another grand that i dont have to spend. Do any of you have suggestions on what intercooler to get, any good deals on anything???? I'm trying to get a kit i guess cause i dont wanna buy all of it seperately. Should i get a front mount or side mounts???? I knew i needed one i just thought i could get it later in the entire process. Oh yeah i need to find one in about 2 weeks or sooner hopefully i can buy one by next wednesday cause i wanna have them put in on before the engine goes into the car. Would the N/A radiator work possibly or is it a necessity to get a new one for the TT??? If any one has any suggestions or ideas let me know i'm all ears. LOL about the wheel thnx for lettin me know (how the hell did u notice that my god????????) i have the car in my garage, well not anymore, and i didnt notice it. :burnout:

I believe someone here just bought new IC's for his car. He might be willing to let the stock ones go......... for less than a grand anyway........

SMIC's are better than FMIC's on this car. If you use an N/A radiator, you'll likely run into overheating problems. Since you're on a budget, it would make sense to buy as much used stuff as possible. Get the car running, then upgrade along the way. I'll send you some photos of my old radiator too. I replaced it about 6 months ago with the HOWE. There was nothing wrong with it. Just wanted to upgrade it.

Mounts are slightly different.
Hoses are the same.

zxdude is right. FMIC's have the tendency to cause overheating problems. Not all the time though. I've seen both successful FMICinstallations and some that had overheating probs.

Don't know if it includes all the hosing (91 could tell you), but stillen's intercoolers are going to be your best bet most likely. They're pricey though (but so are all of em!)

also you guys are forgetting one thing... with the front mounts you tend to have more lag than with the smaller side mounts, but once the power kicks in, you are in it for the ride. I think thats why z32 tt's were great when it comes to lag... smaller pipes and smaller intercoolers kept it pressurized better, so there was hardly any lag. I wanted to get a front mount for my first wrx, but a huge front mount on my little 2 liter would be just overwhelming without the turbo upgrade. right now my stock intercooler is good for up to 400hps, so i have long ways to go. And it has water spray injection thingy, so when it gets too hot you push the little button and it sprays the intercooler with a fine mist, and that giant air scoop guides the cold air into the intercooler which cools it off. But i do want another 300zx I just miss the damn car too much

I haven't seen an IC kit that comes with all of the hoses. I have seen an IC tubing kit, but it was really expensive. I think I saw it on AMZ. The kit was made by border. Over $1k. I believe the tubing was slightly larger than stock. Not worth it, IMO.

You will need all of the tubes and hoses that run from the turbos forward to the IC's, then from the IC's back to the throttle bodies. On each side, there are 3 metal tubes, 1 plastic tube and 4 rubber hoses.

Another down side of the FMIC is that it defeats the purpose of your cold air intake. The air temp behind the IC's is much higher than the ambient temp. So, not only do you get hotter air through the radiator, but you get hotter air in through the intake.

The Stillen SMIC's come with nothing except the IC's and the air guide mounting screws along with a new connector for your turn signal. The air guides are purchased separately.

The best SMIC's are Stillen and Greddy. Greddy's a little less expensive ($900ish) and doesn't require the guides.
