id say anything you can do with the engine out

hoses, clutch & flywheel, downpipes, get your NUR turbos, whatever else, maybe bigger radiator and electric fan, cams, cam gears

you can always do stuff like intake, cat-back, ecu afterwards without much trouble

If this is a JDM motor, I'd say invest in just rebuilding a USDM motor or rebuilding the JDM motor. At least tear it down and take a look at everythign and slightly rebuild it up.

You're going to wind up like Zwrecker when he broke his leg. You'll be sitting in the driver's seat in the garage 'play racing'. Just get it running. Worry about the rest of the crap later.

Wayyyyy Off Topic!

Way off topic:

Ok so here I have a 1992 Nissan 240SX witha blown motor. body is in good condition. (just a tyny fender bender that I can fix in maby 2 hours) for 500$. the owner says he has no use for teh car and it's up for sale. so the following is here.
My budget:
2,200 that I'm getting for property damage
600 < what I have right now.
500 < that Vinh owes me.
1,000+ < that I'm getting for pain and suffering.
550 < for trany
______
4,850

and ofcourse what i get from work which is liek 400+ per month.
so with all this. IO can straight out just do a Red Top SR20DET swap.
Full Kouki body kit and lights.
5 lug conversion.
1800 SR20DET swap.
1500 Full Kouki body kit.
500 5 lug conversion
0 LSD.
_____
3,800

that leaves me with 1050 to play with. for Performance. wich can come in quitte handy. any inputs?

oh yeah also forgot whatever else I get for parting out and recycling my Z32.

So are you trying to say that you're dumping the z32TT project in favor of buying a 240?

You might get your SR and tranny for $1800 +/- but from what I've read the sr 240 swap will cost you $5k by the time you're driving it. For a drifter kid, thas prolly a better choice anywayz.......

Good luck.

This guy has pretty good prices with shipping included........ MIG Welder , and this is the mig that I would buy. I keep wanting one, but my tig welder does just fine on the little jobs that I usually do. You can prolly find a used one cheaper, but you never know what you're getting.

wow, that one seems really expensive.
I'm sure you could find one for less at home depot, sears, or equivalent.
