need help overheating

hi
im just go to say now that i cant spell. so sorry
well i just bought a 94 n/a. and the other day im driver it on the highway and starts to look like the car is going to over heat. so i get off the highway and let the car cool down. now im driving for about 30mins and everthing is good as soon as i get on the highway it starts to look like is going to to overheat. now the hell is going on. some one HELP

When you say..."starts to look like it is going to over heat". Do you mean that the temp needle starts to rise above the mid way point?
When you pulled over, did you pop the hood? was there any smoke/steam?

Have you checked the coolant level? Have you noticed any coolant leaks anywhere (around hoses, puddles on the ground). Could be a cracked hose, collapsed lower rad hose, water pump going, coolant temp sensor going (or dirty connector), failing radiator.
How many miles on the car? When was the 60K service done?

lower radiator hose tends to collapse at higher speeds especially if its old
dont buy that, go to homedepot and make one

I used the Chrome sink drain pipes and made mine..$2.99 at the hardware store.

Could be a clogged radiator, faulty t-stat or a faulty fan clutch also.

loose or corroded temp sensor is also a probability.
that got my car to overheat once. Cleaned the connection, never overheated since.
