Hi Z32TTGirl, I'm now to this site also but not new to the Zed.. I have a street legal Z32's and one I (race only) Z32. I got myself a 240Z for Christmas, and one I call a 450ZX. It has a VH45DE supercharged engine in it. My Z32 race only car is being replaced with a 350Z race only car and well be finished in a few months.

well I am very sorry to say this but today January 18, 2004 @ 3:32PM my 90 300ZX Z32 N/A got beat by like a 88 89 toyota supra turbo. he had an Exhaust Intake and BOV for sure. we went off on the freeway. launch speed was like 65-70 I went from 5-4 gear while he went from 5-3. I got him through out my entire 4th gear, really nice. he was behind me by like half a car. then on 5th he caught up slowly and his rear bumper was right in front of my front bumper. so just bearly. is that good for a bone stock Z? I got cheap plugs, (denso single plug), and 10-W5 motor oil. on 1 quater the gas tank, a fat friend, both our backpacks on the trunk, a full bottle of 50/50 antifreeze, jumper cables, all the stuff with the spare tire. and it was only him on his striped primered supra. with shitty euro tail lights and a rusted rear bumper. so does it make my Z slow or Normal???

I'd say you were alittle out of your class but did a great job. Add alittle spray and guess what?

 

A little spray can go a long wayZ Wow, all of that weight. You maby could have beat him if you dumped the friend and all of the extras on the car. Supra's are nice, I was considering one but im not a Toyota person.

Go mention spray at 300zxclub or tt.net if you have a N/A. You will get flamed to hell. I, for one, feel spray is a good power adder. Not for me though..

 

nah I don;t use nitrous. all ti does is kill the car faster. besides it runs fine. besides the fact it keeps killing my battery
