I finally got my dream car 91 fairlady TT two seater this is a factory TT car not a swap first off I only paid 1500 for it I think its a great deal concidering every one I have found in this shape is always 7to 10,000. Any ways I have four 240sx's and know a lot about ka's but never touched a vg30 yet. Can you run external waste gates on them and how much HP can you get out of a stock vg30 TT it already has hks full 3 inch cat back system and Freddy turbo timer ( don't know if it works yet) I have already bought a spare moter with 35,650km on it.

I'm also new to the Z32, so I'll just tell you the little I know about them.
When you say it has a full catback system are you talking about just the ehaust? Or are you talking about downpipes, testpipes and exhaust?
Do you know if the ECU has been upgraded, you'll be stuck at stock turbo psi without it.
This what I use for a guide: Guide
If you add the following bolt-ons... pop charger, ECU upgrade and catback exhaust. Your 300zx will be considered a "Stage 3", putting down 300+whp @ 12-14psi
Then upgrading the Underdrive pulley, testpipes, downpipes, clutch and flywheel. At this level you have a car generally known as a "Stage 5+", putting down 375-400rwhp @ 12-14psi.
After that you'll be going beyond stock components.. injectors, intercoolers, turbos and such. You'll probably want to look into suspension and breaks at this point.
My car currently has all those upgrades except for the testpipes and it's FAST. I couldn't ever imagine a need to upgrade anything else. (But I will do the test pipes)

Thanks guys for the guide and comments the sad part on my car is it was a factory red and someone converted it to lh oh well it is going back I have been playing with it today it has a single cone intake and other then that all is stock I'm disassembling the whole car I took the factory waste gate off and they were full of oil is that normal?
