Not firing on No.6!!

Hi there guys. well where do i start. me z has been running fine since i rebuilt it about 7months ago, but come to it today after it has been standing for about 5 days and its started missing on No.6.

After replacing the old MAS/MAF (hence being off the road for a few days) it was ok for about 3-4 mins of driving and then out of the blue, a constant miss. now i have gon as far as to check the coil pack and to see if there is a spark and that is fine, if checked the injector and that was ticking, ive even replaced the injector incase of a blockage, but still it is missing on that darn cylinder.

i did an ECU check and atfirst it came up with code 21* i gave a few things a "wiggle" and it went. but it has not solved my missfire.

Could it be the PTU even though its sparking, or what i was thinking was there was a problem with the Crank Angle Sensor and causing it to not fire right on that particular cylinder.

Any thoughts would be much apriciated.

Adam

Did you try removing the Spark Plug and checking it?

Fire to the coil pack doesn't mean the plug is going to fire... You still need a good plug.

Rod.

did you check the wiring that connects to the coil pack to make sure it was on secure?
