raise the roof ... or the Z

the front of my car is lower then the rear by a good bit. i thought it was the front springs sagging, but a mechanic said that there is an arm thats part of the front suspension that has bolts that can be loosened and the car can be raised. the arm and bolts do exist, he showed them to me, but i wanna make sure this all makes sense before i go and loosen bolts and try to lift the thing up. anyone?

How should I put this....um, no.

The Z doesn't have anything in the front that you can adjust to raise the car up. Please post a pic of what this 'mechanic' showed you.

its raining now, but if it stops in a bit i'll try to get under there and get a pic. i had the suspicion that ummm.... no would be the answer. these are the same mechanics that did something weird with my exhaust as far as cats are concerrned. i still dont know what to make of that. they said they talked directly to nissan about where to put the cats, but the seem to hang low, and the scrape everything. btw, do you think my springs are sagging then? i have eibachs all the way around.

How far is it from the ground to the small grey stripe that runs along bottom of the car. Measure the distance from behind the front wheel and in front of the rear wheel. I just replaced my midpipes, so if you want 'em, I'll sell 'em to you cheap. They're in good shape.
