small pop at idle...... help?????
ok so im going to keep everyone informed of how this goes.
Day1 so today i was on the hunt for the miss my 300 has when at idle.
so far i cleaned some injector harnesses and seem to be idleing alot better.
i also put a screwdriver to all the injectors and all sound fine except the driver side front one... the reason i say this is where the others tick this one doesnt seem to the same patteren also when i play with the wiring on the same injector it starts to miss completely....
any ideas....
the other route im going to try is maybe the fuel pressure regulator is bad because i am getting white smoke from the tailpipes all of them and it smells of gas.....
another idea i had is it was just in the shop and the mechanic put a new o2 sensor on the passenger side and i was going to put the drivers side one in.
also before it threw a engine code 32 and 34. when i took it to the mechanic he told me bad ground and he fixed it. but it seems he didn't because the computer keeps throwing it at me 30 mins after i reset it. any ideas....
and last but not least when you exit the diagnostic system, you can adujst the idle speed on the computer by turning the white **** one way or another, what is that??? does it make it run lean or rich because if i turn it one way it bogs it down or it speeds it up....im confused about that.
