Spare Tire Inflator

Spare Tire Inflator
Check this out... My buddy popped a bead on his jeep tire... but we didn't have a compressor... I remembered the Z32 has a 'flat spare' that you inflate once installed... So, I grabbed my canister and tried it. It inflated his tire and popped in back on the bead. Got him home and off the side of the road at 3 am.
The problem is... I need another canister; or I need to refill this one. Any knowledge on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Am I able to refill this one? I can't find anything on the bottle saying yes or no. HELP!

I didn't know Nissan stopped using them... was there a reason they stopped? I kinda like the idea. You inflate the tire only when you need it, that way there's no way for the tire to lose pressure while sitting in the trunk.

so the Z32 comes with an inflator that's in the car somewhere? i'd like to know where that is... lol. i hate the flat spare idea, seeing as i havn't found this inflator. i was kinda thinking about getting one of those little tiny battery powered compressors that come in emergency kits and stuff. but then again, i'd rather just take the spare out for my driving that tends to be almost all local.

Nice. Been looking for one for ages...everytime I go somewhere and ask for one the retards at the store try to sell me a can of Tire Slime or something, totally frustrating. But 70 bucks...cripes...well...beats sitting ont eh side of the road I suppose.

Call Ultimate Z to make sure they have them in stock before ordering. They're notorious for not updating the site when something changes, and if Nissan did stop production (which I believe is true), they may not have any left. (Updating the site was my job when I was there.) I know they had a bunch in stock when I was there and nobody ever bought them though, so they probably do have some left.

Why bother to buy an OEM like canister inflator. Just get a small 12V DC tire compressor. The one i have is actually smaller than the OEM canister and cost much less too, and is easier to find and buy too.
And the compressor can be re-used and used for other types of inflatable devices too, like a bike tire...
