Spark Plug change with problems
So I changed my spark plugs and put in NGK's. At first the car ran fine. When I started the car up again the check engine light was on and there was some slight sputtering. After checking my connections I go back to the car to find the light is off and the sputtering stopped. After a while I check on it again and then the check engine light is on again after starting it up along with the sputtering! What could be the reason for the check engine light coming on and off with the sputtering of the engine?

A common mistake for people to make is to mount the balance tube improperly. When you move it out of the way, a bracket can fall into its place on the passenger's side. The bracket usually mounts on top of the balance tube on that side, and as a result, it's easy to put the balance tube back on with the bracket in between the balance tube and the plenum. This can cause a huge vacuum leak which will cause your symptoms. Check that (and other vacuum lines) first, let us know if that's the problem.

I made sure to put the bracket on top of balance tube because I took note that it could indeed cause a vacuum leak if reinstalled correctly so that can't be the problem. As of now my check engine light is actually off and everything seems to be running fine. But I can't help but be paranoid that it'll come back on. I think it might be the connections to the coil packs. Cause i started poking at em to make sure and the problem went away. I think i ought to look into new coil packs or connectors.
