The Story Thus Far...
Since I've got parts off the Z and its currently not driveable, im holding off on getting new NA injectors for it. Insurance has been off the car for a month now, its much cheaper now that im on my dads Dodge and 1 less car to pay insurance on, so ive convinced my dad to let me get into looking for a TT clip for my Z. #1 reason, its much cheaper not driving it, hence the fact its 700.00 every 6 months for insurance on the z. #2, this way ill have my "TT" Z as ive always wanted but in slicktop form ^.^, plus i dont really want to pay 740.00 put in injectors, drive it for a little while then get around to swapping it out. Also, fyi, in a months time, ill have the funds to put this project in place so its not just another person saying im doing the tt conversion. if i can take this on, ill learn 10x as much. I tackled taking off the plenum off (being a beginner) so its a good start
For my actual question, ive googled places that sell import clips. im mainly looking for a japanese tt clip. i came across Noya-USA, but not sure on their dealings, so if anyone knows someone or a place that ordered an imported clip, plz share your info on how it went. id like to get one thats got 60k or less, TT, japanese, w/ manual tranny. the cheapest one ive seen so far is 3200, that was off Noya-USA.
Id like to make sure the engine gets thoroughly checked, so once i get it, i liked to get everything rebuilt, heads, turbos, etc.. but im not sure how this process goes, if someone can give me idea on how it goes and on how getting it done, (like if theres a certain machinist that i need), plz share, thnx.

Yes, unfortunately my contact has gotten out of business... He got into Realestate.
That deal from Speedline Group is pretty good... I'd say go with that. I couldn't match that price if you asked me to, haha. Good luck with it man.

Theoretically,
My point was that if you order it from japan direct, you might get it for $1800 + $700 shipping = $2500 cost to you..
If you go thru a middle-man, you end up paying $1800 + $700 (importer cost) + $500 (importer mark-up) + $500 (shipping from importer to you) = $3500 cost to you for the same clip.
Again, using the theoretical numbers, you'll pay for the shipping either way.
