Thanks emo236. Will those gauges work with a 95 cluster? I saw them before but figured they must be too different to work with mine. Ill try the want ad in a bit, Im hoping that whatever it is thats causing the gauges to mess up I can work out. Btw emo236, the cluster did that before I fried it.

I just got off the phone with Courtesy Nissan, they got the 2 gauges, but will be $120 for both. For that I might as well go to the junker. They said that the clusters SHOULD be interchangeable, but he doesnt have any information on the microfiche to say otherwise.
I noticed too that the fuel gauge is actually reading now, though I should be at 1/4 tank, it says i have 3 1/4's.
Temp still maxed out.
Is there a ground wire that is notorious for coming loose or something?

If he is that would be great, cuz I really wan to get this fixed. The guy at Courtesy Nissan never heard of the both gauges going bad simultaneously, though I doubt he was a Z expert. But anyway, if theres a lonely cluster out there that needs a good home, let me know.

Well I broke down and bought a cluster off ebay, its for a turbo but the part numbers match exactly(well except for the boost gauge, ) So hopefully by next week ill be able to reassure my passengers that no the engine isnt on fire and yes we have plenty of gas. BTW it set me back $162 with shipping. Heres the link( I dunno why).

I hit 3 different junkyards within 2hr driving distance and NO ONE had a z32, except Jimmy at Crazy Rays, but he decided to be an @$$ about it so this is the next best thing.

Hrmmm.....looks like the fuel gauge is off by 1/8 of a tank but you could adjust that I think. One think I'd definately like you to do before you install it is to compare them side by side and see if you can see anything easily fixed on your board, even though we know you've pretty much triple checked everything. Hell you get yours working again and you can resell the one you just got
