put em on my z31 a while back. definately much brighter, and white light looks so much better than sickly yellow.

I like 'em. I heard from some that they burn out fast. Just make sure and don't touch the glass with your fingers................

I like em. Made a greater difference still when I took apart the headlight and cleaned the projector bulb. Amazing how dirty that was.

Silverstars + clean projector lense = Wow

Damn, and I just removed my headlights to fix a broken hole in each of em like 2 days ago, and JUST put em back in, to take em back out and fix the lense would be a huge pain in the ***...although very tempting of an idea. anyway to remove the glass w/o removing the whole assembly?

Nope. It is a bit of a PITA but you would be suprised how much build up id on those lenses. Worth it but be sure to re seal the glass well or the effort will be all for not.

Well, after finally experiencing the new lights, I've got to say...goddamn! its the difference between hardly being able to see the road at all, to seeing damn near everything up to and including 100 ft. away. I HIGHLY recommend em, I guess my next step is to crack open those housing and clean those lenses, and pick up some foglights (since my stock ones are somewhere at some junkyard in my old 240sx...kinda forgot to get em before it was towed...)

Pretty good lights, have a set at the house along with around 3 other sets of cheapo's. I plan on getting some HID's off Yugobernie for a little over $400. HID's for $400 sounds pretty good to me. But we will see how that goes later on.

Silverstars are pretty good. Only thing I used to use on my old Z. They're good enough without having to fork out money for HIDs althgouh $400 is a pretty good price.

New YugoBernie sells the unit as a brand new kit. He's kind of a out of the garage shop, and most know him or have bought from him throughout the years. I hear he is going to start an online shop soon.

Anyways, they are brand new. Pretty simple plug and play kit custom tailored for the Z32 only as that's all Bernie deals with. I've used some universal kits in other applications and they just plain suck...got em to work but they suck to install...Yugobernie's kits seem very simple to install and the little converter boxes aren't too big either. I'll see if I can dig up a pic of them.

Sweet, $400 for HID's sounds like a decent price to me! I'll just wait til these silverstars burn out before I consider em tho

I got a Phillips 4100k HID kit..

Very white, slight hint of blue, not as much great of a difference between lows and highs now..

RPS13 - You should have gotten the Hi-beams and did the modification so they can fit in the 9006 socket. There was a write up on 3zc about it

Here are some pics of my HID's. Then a comparison between a pair of "painted on" bulbs that I bought off ebay for like 14$. Waste of money IMO..
