Theft Warning

Is there any way to deactivate this factory alarm? When i purchased the vehicle it came with a Clifford Alarm w/Pager. I don't really need 2 alarms on my car. Sometimes the factory alarm goes off for no reason. Most of the time it say the trunk is open but really the trunk is closed and locked.

yea i know you can remove the factory alarm but that wasn't my question. my question was if you can deactivate the alarm. in the manual it only shows how to activate. doesn't say anythin about deactivating.

Agreed, I need this info too, my alarm has a tendency to go off at the early hours of the morning and seriously **** off my neighborhood, a way to not actually remove, but just disarm it would be nice (besides running out to my car and unlocking the door).

lol, omg, the panel that covers my ECU has been off for the last 3 months, and i've been staring at that little blue plug the whole time w/o knowing that that was all I had to remove...thanks for the help kenz, i suppose i was just a bit too lazy to do my own searching.
