Traction Control???
While driving my new Z for about the 2nd time in the snow, One time when I hit the brakes, I started to slide, I heard a lot of buzzing like motors switching on and off, while also hearing brakes clamp and let go. Of course I had to play around in the snow because I didn't know what this was. But, Is it some kind of traction control?

Re: Traction Control???
Nope, its called anti-lock-brakes (ABS). 300z's won't have traction control unless it was put in aftermarket. Traction control only works during acceleration. If the system monitors wheelspin during accel. the system either cuts spark in certain cylinders or fuel to cut power and the spinning.

Re: Traction Control???
I guess it is just the ABS, I mean i've had other cars with Anti-lock brakes, I guess I have just never been in the cockpit with one so I couldnt hear the noise.
