turbos?

Ok long story short, i guess the previous owner didnt clean the air filter enough, compressor blades are worn down! not leaking though, which is good. After looking at turbos i was thinking why not use a different turbo set up? On my ford ranger turbo i am running a holset hx35w, they last for ever and are completely rebuild-able. I searched, only z owners i could fins are the z31 owners running a single holset. Any opinions? The hx35w with a small 12cm exhaust housing? of course would need the bigger engine mounts and exhaust. oil cooled only so no more water lines. plus they are a dime a dozen, my ranger is pushing 320bhp at 17psi, should be a beast on the z!

I see some questions in there, but seeing as you ended with an exclamation, I'm going to assume that your mind is made up. If its good enough for your Ford, slap it on your Z.

My mind isn't made up, but the y are tempting, plus they are made to run 30psi all day long... Also looking into the potato or gt3071r turbos.
