are you using the stock length belts? because the under drive pulley is smaller correcto? so there for, you might need shorter belts. but idk for sure, are you just having trouble like you can figure out how to tension them or are you properly doing the process to tension them but tehy wont get tight enough? also, you might want to try a search on twinturbo.net for this while your awaiting a better response than mine from other people. never had to screw with the belts on my Z32.

Yes,

you will need a set of under-drive belts. try

http://www.conceptzperformance.com/C...524.33.125.140

or some other place that sells them.

Yes, the OEM belts are too big. You need the UDP kit; which includes smaller belts.

or you could just measure the belts length and width, then go down to NAPA ot autochode and they will be able to get you the correct belts...

well finally got them on after testing out diffrent belt sizes. well i got them on Wednesday and they broke in pretty well in fact. thought at start up now it squeals. I'm gonna retighten this afternoon to see if it goes away. All in all the ud pulley feels great. Next is the straight pipe and headers. I'll keep ya'll updated.

you will most likely need a new belt

new belt will most likely fix the problem do the twist test see if you can twist the belt more than 1/2 turn on its longest part between pulleys, if you can you probably need to do more tightening.

If it's squealing still, I'm willing to bet you OVERtightened it. Loosen it a bit.
