What kind of noise is it? A grinding noise? etc

I had a GMC Jimmy that I completely submerged in water - Needless to say the front bearings started going out on it. You could hear it softly all the time but turning one direction would make the grinding noise really noticeable.

So... what kind of noise is it?

Wheel bearings? Worn brake pads? Something is loose?

Take of the tire and inspect.....

I know of a guy who experienced the same issues, a grinding noise when turning in one direction - in his case it was simply a couple of wheel nuts that loosened slightly on one of the wheels. The alloys were 18" and originally from a car with a different offset, an RX7 I believe. For some reason they loosened. Luckily he discovered the problem, but it took a while.
