I was pulling the rear panels out of my 90 300z today and directly behind the driver seat built into the car was a 'secret compartment'...lol. there is a clear plastic bin that holds 4 strange black plastic gizmos, and two of them seem to have suction cups on them....what in the hell are these things? My buddy thinks they might be for headlamp alignment...any ideas?

I believe they are for headlight alignment, but you have to use a headlight alignment box, which doesnt come with the car

no, it's not worth money... every 300ZX came with it, and you can't use it unless you have access to the headlight aiming machine that Nissan dealerships use, so no one has any reason to buy one.

take it out, put it in the garage, and be glad you just saved yourself some weight

 

Been done. Don't remember the link, but it was on eBay and the guy asked the same query as this guy. The token answer to his question: It doesn't have the box.

 

tis tis boys, e-bay is great if you know how to make money, I dont need to lose weight (Z-life), and i sold them an hour ago to a glass shop up the street...lol.
Now if only i could gather a bunch of great minds to insult, inform, argue, and discuss certain types of Nissan cars with on the internet!!!

 

I kept mine, mainly because you can hide stuff under it.... like bottles of mt.dew and stuff.....
