whats a fair price

I found a Z32 in my area. Its a 90' with Greddy exhaust and an after market front bumper (he had the car towed before and the tow truck lifted the back end and it crunched the front bumper a little so it needs some fiberglass work.) Its yellow with blue/black interior. 134k miles and engine runs soundly. Needs a new power steering rack. Hes asking for $5k but he said hes willing to negotiate. He said hes never raced/driven the car hard.

i paid 4000 for my 94 with about 78,000 i think thats the mileage, anyway in that area but its n/a. i looked it over and had it inspected all i needed were front brakes, rear tires, hood switch for the alarm, ash tray, small fuel hose, gas cap for some reason it wouldnt fit in any of my emission adapters. the driver seat has a small tear and the paint is kind of ratty. hope this helps

i kelly blue booked the car and it said that in EXCELLENT condition they go for just over $3,700. So im going to go to him with the print out and offer him about 3k since i have to do some fiberglass work to the front bumper and spend some more money on a new steering rack.

Added to that the steering rack is a $1000 job at the dealer. And a new facia will run you up to $600 for a decent replacement. Then that alone will drop the price of an NA . Unless it is a slicktop which seems to be a more desireable Z.
