Where to look?

autotrader, craigslist, autoextra, newspaper, etc. i was looking as far as 3 states away from me, and the net was a big help. finally found the right one on autotrader. found mine in oregon and had to drive all day and night to get it. now that i think about it, i found my z31 on autotrader too.

www.twinturbo.net classifieds is where I found my first one, bought my second one directly from Ultimate Z, who rebuilt it after it was in an accident.
I recommend looking through the Z website classifieds (here, 3zc.com, tt.net...) because an enthusiast is more likely to take care of the car properly.

... that's vague... based on the cost, I'm assuming you're looking for an NA? (Not that you couldn't find a TT for that range, but any TT under $5k is asking for trouble - for reference, I spent ~$5500 for each of my TT's, both had minor problems).
