I just bought a '91 300 ZX non turbo and can't find the air filter location. I ordered a manual on-line but it isn't here yet. Any help is appreciated. I work on all of my vehicles but this one is a little difficult to get familiar with.

Under the nose panel between the headlights.

If you're going to upgrade, get a JWT POP Charger (don't waste your money on others) - proven leader in performance as far as intakes go.

 

Thanks for the response. I tried to remove that panel by removing the two 10mm bolts and then lifted it slightly and looked under towards the front and it looks like more bolts holding it in that are not easily accessible. Does the panel just pull towards the engine, or are there more bolts to remove?

There are few bolts that attaches it to the front bumper you can easily remove them by a long T-wrench.
Just to let you know there are zillion bolts that are far more difficult to reach in the Z.
Anyway congratulations on buying the Z. take care of her.
