i was driving in rain the other day and i had my wipers on obviously and then my driver side wiper just stopped moving. i tried turning it off then on again and it still didnt move. when i checked it i could move the wiper manually by myself it wasnt locked into place like the passenger side. i tried to take off the whole wiper assembly today and my wiper wouldnt even come off.

any help??

 

I had wiper issues on my 280ZX. IDK if the 300 is the same way, but check and tighten the nut holding the wiper arm onto the nub that makes the wiper move. It'll be under a cover of some sort, most likely. Put the wiper into a position mimicking the passenger side, then tighten with a wrench or socket, not something like pliers, as you'll never get it tight enough like that.

Theres only a few things it can be. The nut like Yzzerdd said or its possible that the link popped out underneath the cowel. I dont remember how it works, but there are arms under the cowel that link together, if the one popped off but the other one is still connected to the motor its possible for just one to work.
