Z32 dett in Z31 questions
whats up people, i bought a complete vg30dett motor from jspecmotors to swap on my 88 z31, but some wires are cut and i have an idea of what it could be but it wouldnt hurt to ask other ppl

this is on both sides of the motor, im 'thinking' these are supposed to be the pig tail ends for the mass air flow sensors
this is on the ecu harness. these two wires are at the far end of the ecu, and so i will give or try to give a good explination; looking at the harness left to right, you can see there are four columns that make up the harness. from left to right, there are three columns that have twenty teeth "ten on one row which we will reffer to as row A and parrallel to it, there are ten more teeth under row a, which will be row b, the fourth column has 16 big teeth(ignore that one). ok, so on the first column of the harness, these two black wires with white stripes are cut, they are the first teeth on row a and b.
then, on the same column, the 8th tooth on row a is also cut which is a wired green color, i have no idea what these wires do...
finally, i believe this taped up roll of wires is the air bag for the steering wheel.
if anyone here can help me out identify what these are, i would highly appreciate it; the online manual doesnt tell me and mitchell on demand at work is a p.o.s. i need human knowledge!

so i finally got the motor inside the z after all my work n school got in the way. i found out what the wires do, but now to just wait for my custom radiator, intercooler, intercoolercpiping, driveshaft and other goodies to arrive.
but i do have another question if you all dont mind answering. does the vg30dett come with one mafs or two? needa know asap

i agree, pictures are in order and mandatory.. and yes ive taken lots..but i have a small situation that has nothing to do with the install. im trying to boost more (even though i havent tuned it on). A z32tt enthusiast told me i can safely tune and boost 14psi each turbo. though he hasnt done it himself, i want opinions and thoughts.. i know the stock injectors wont hold a big boost number....

looks like the part of the harness that goes to the front for the power plugs and the maf sensor. the second plug looks like the alternator charge plug, and the last plug looks like all the alternator and starter wiring..

Ok, so i was noticing that my ECU has an Orange wire on #37. So that means i dont need a mass air flow sensor right??? (and i just found out my motor is a 90-92)
And the Vehicle speed sensor wire has been cut. Now im assuming the reason was because it has a Digital Instrument pannel? Or its just cut lol.. if anyone can answer id highly appreciate it!
