Z's up and running...sorta
Well i took the time this past weekend to change out the alternator. Sorry didn't do write up. Batteries for my camera were non existant and i didn't wanna go get any.
So after cursing thru 5 1/2 hours of changing that out, all night battery charging, and some second attempt of tighting the belt, car runs and is no worse for the wear.
Of course this isn't the end of it. That'd be too easy. That only happens in fairy tales, happily ever after till next oil change and all that crap.
The Clutch Master Cylinder that i rebuilt and installed a month ago won't build pressure. It looks like the line is clogged somewhere. I'm hoping it's right at the cylinder to make it easy on myself but i'm not sure what i'd do if it was elsewhere. Wish me luck i guess.

I hate to say it
but if your clutch master cylinder doesn't build pressure even after you try to bleed it, then you have a bad o-ring on the slide inside the cylinder. It probably wasn't perfectly lubricated when you rebuilt it and it rolled or a part of it developed a flat spot and now you have brake fluid on both sides of it. Good luck. But there is always hope that it can still bleed correctly.
why was the alternator hard? did you run into a stuck bolt? no air tools? i had a problem with my compressor, can you tell me why Nissan decided to put a bolt backwards into the top back mount of the compressor? of all the cars and all the compressors....its a THROUGH bolt....why must they be different? stupid crows foot wrench only need it for 2 things.... hot 02 sensors and the damn bolt on the back of the compressor!

Hand tools only for the alternator install. sucked.
The clutch master cylinder was clogged, i had to rebuild it again. Now it seems the top bleeder pipe is clogged somewhere. I can take the bleeder screw completely out and no fluid comes out. I remove the bleeder screw from the slave cylinder and i can empty the master cylinder easily. This is starting to get annoying.
the kicker is i'm unable to remove that piping cuz i can't get a wrench on it. So i'm clueless on how to remove the clog.

Oh ok,
Well, if you can empty from the master to the slave then to get the clog or bloackage out of the top bleeder line....remove the line from the master cylinder, then remove the bleeder valve from the top bleeder line (dont just turn the valve Remove it) and then either use a vacuum pump and suck out that line or use a bit of compressed air and blow it out from the master cylinder side. Good luck and i hope you have a friend to help you with this as doing it by yourself can lead to hair loss and animal kicking.
Oh i say to remove the line fromt he master cylinder cause lots of pressure back through that line can very easily damage it..

Riz, don't tear up your back like that man, go get a cardboard box from Home Depot or something and push it under your car and lay on that.
It'll stop any cuts/bruising and offer a little padding. If you can get your car high enough which I doubt many of us can, you can use a crawler. Getting asphalt in a cut and getting it infected = REALLY SHITTY..

Good luck.
Follow it from the passenger fender and count how many 90 degree bends there are and how many turns of direction are involved.
If you did that, do you still recommend a wire coat hanger? and if you do I wanna know where you bought that magic wire coat hanger.

well it took some time but I finally got an air compressor on the clutch lines.
First I emptied the system, then disconnected the line from the clutch master cyinder. With both bleed points open, blew compressed air thru the lines. Closed up the slave cylinder bleed point and blew air threw the lines again. I thought i cleared out whatever the obstruction was as air and fluid sprayed out of the upper second bleed point. So i hooked everything back up, filled the master cylinder back up with fluid and once again, nothing from the second bleed point. So I'm back to square one, no pressure in the lines and no working clutch. I'm stuck on what to do next to fix this.
