0W-40 oil

I was wondering if anyone else here has ever tried (moble1) 0w-40??

i tried serching for this subject but have found very little info regaurding this
issue for z32's

i recently purchased a 93 300zx 2 seater n/a, ive been reading as much as i can about this car but it seems you really have to dig for any reliable information.

I have not tried the oil, but according to the online manual you should usually be using 10W-30.

Hmm.. the sticker under the hood of my 91 TT says something along the lines of.. if the year round temperature stays above 0 degrees F then use 10-40 or even up to 20-50. If temps get below 0 use 5-30. Bearing clearances back then weren't near as tight as they are now.
