1993 nissan 300zx 2+2 speaker help ?
well low and behold i go to crutchfield to order new car speakers for my 300zx when i get the speakers i took apart the front door panel.. and da%^it ! to he$L pull out a triangle bose speaker.. looks to be a size 4" or 4.5 " ? does any body know the correct speaker size of the bose car stereo system for our 300zx's ? please let me know asap , thanks , KENNETH

You can get (or make) brackets to fit up to 6.5" speakers in the doors. I actually just cut the stock Bose enclosures to fit my 6.5" speakers...

ok so hears the deal i had some left over 3/4 wood flooring left from the last house i worked on so i went into the shed and kinda fabracated me a flat peace and drilled out a 6.5 in hole useing the kenwood 6.5 i got from crutchfield.... i will test fit it tomorow morning... it only took me 20 min to get the hole door panel off next time i think it should take me only 10 min.. thats on the passenger side...

so i have checked all threads all over the internet.. the stock bose speakers are size 4.5 inch... with a 2 inch depth...i looked at some threads for me to contact the nissan dealership and order the orginal metal plates for the front speakers and the rear speakers... 6.5 up front and 4x6 in the back... im gonna check a few junk yards and do so scouting with me screw driver , flat head driver 10mm 14mm going to the junk yards tomorow wish me luck. !
