I have just recently purchased a black 90 model TT Z from japan. Arrived last week and is currently being passed through quarantine. It has 54k miles (86k km) on it and I paid US$9476 for it landed and complied. I guess my question is was this a good deal. It's always a little worrying buying a car you havn't seen, but I've been told it's immaculate in the interior with a few scratches on the side and roof (It's a hard top).

I guess another thing I'm wondering is what kind of performance can I expect from a TT of this mileage. Anyone hit the dyno with similar mileage? I guess it depends a lot on how the car was maintained.

 

from what you told us it "sounds" like a good deal, but there are also a lot of things to look for. look for more posts from the experts that frequent message boards, i myself am a newbie. i try not to comment on things that they will know better than me.
