Air Intake Problem with FMIC
So i just installed my frontmount intercooler, and my air intake is directly behind it. Is there some sort of kit you can get to re route the air intake so the induction isnt taken directly from behind my intercooler??

not that iv'e heard... but thats just me... you may be able to do something custom though... and why did you go with a FMIC on a Z32???
edit: and also... whats so horrible about the intake behind your intercooler? its still fairly cool circulating air... its not like the intake is in the engine compartment. and air does flow through intercoolers. just curious as to what your concern is that you want to reroute the intake or air flow

The only intake re-route I've seen is designed to be used the DOOLZ system that A1 sells.

Front Mount Intercoolers don't belong on a 300ZX. This is one of the many reasons.
And before you solve the intake problem and think it's all better, I want to point out that you're also now blocking your oil cooler and radiator from getting sufficient airflow.
Have a nice day.

ditch the FMIC. i wont get into why, as it has been covered many times here, but you can search the topic for more info. the FMIC is NOT ideal for a z32. SMICs are the way to go. period. try and find even a set of stock used SMICs, they will be better than the FMIC.
