accessory belt squeal fix
Ditto! Just did the timing belt on my baby and had the same squeal show up about 2 days later, every time I started the car, and yes I used new belts. Crawled underneath, undid the plastic belly pan, retightened the belts to spec (according to Tech Pages on Timing Belt Install) and problem solved. No more squeal!

Belt noise
I have the same problem in my '90 NA 300Z. I can't find a manual on this car anywhere. I did a lot of work on my old '86 Z but I don't know where to get info on this one.
If anyone can give me the procedure to adjust the belts I would be grateful.
Thanks,
Johann

In my Nissan service manual it shows an adjuster for/on the Power steering pump, the alternator and idler pulley. There are deflection settings for used and new belts as well as limits which I believe are to establish replacement times. BTW all the adjusters are a proper bitch to get at. Good luck, if I can help further, let me know.
