Boost Controller Broken???
I have a Blitz SBC-iD, I have been having some problems with my car since I got it all together and I finally have it running ok. So I went to test it out. These are the settings I have and these are the results:
channel 1: set 40, gain 10 -->Boost 12.7
channel 2: set 50, gain 12 -->Boost 12.7
channel 3: set 70, gain 13 -->Boost 12.9
channel 4: set 75, gain 15 -->Boost 13.1
Now get this, I turn off the boost controller and I got it up to 13.5 before I had to slow down? WTF??? I have checked all the connections and hoses and everything is secure. All hoses are new and run directly from the turbo wastegates to the controller (OUT port), as well as new hoses to the IN port. Is the controller toast?

Re: Boost Controller Broken???
Are you running an internal or external wastegate? Those electronic boost controllers don't work as well with internal wastegates. It might be the case. Some manufacterers state that their boost controller might have a little problem controlling boost on internal wastegates and many recommend an external unit. The Greddy Profec B is the best one I've seen for internal wastegated cars. The HKS EVC, Apex and Blitz units are electronic and a bit more picky. If the boost kept building and building without stopping, you might have a bad wastegate because it might not be opening all the way to relieve excess boost.
