Bose Speaker replacing
Ok folks, I fee guilty about getting my Z so cheap that instead of dremeling the bose boxes, I just sucked it up bought the brackets from Courtesy since the all Bose amps were dead.
The next question is: Is it worth the trouble of running new speaker wire or can I just cut of the mod conenctors and solder on new speaker leads. Also (here comes a stupid question, no flames please!). Do replacement speakers mount on the front of the brakects or rears and do speakers normally come with screws or do I need to run to the HW store for those.
I'm no audiophile and I am in the car no more that 20 mins a day. BTW, I'm looking at the JVC sx980 or Sony MP30 for the headunit. The speakers I am looking at:
Rear : http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=1940390024
Front: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...item=802203653
Any feedback on those is appreciated too!

Re: Bose Speaker replacing
I just did 2 Custom install on 94 zx and have made my own custom speaker plates using the bose enclosure and factory wiring. I installed 6 1/2 Infinity 605cs in all four locations (doors & rear) I'm actually thinking of selling this design on ebay. Let me know if you are interested
