Calipers, rotors, etc
Has anyone upgraded to non stock brakes and still have the original pieces? I'm thinking of doing an upgrade on my little Z31... just testing the waters to see if the parts are around =)
Thanx!

Re: Calipers, rotors, etc
I have some rotors around with less than 20k on them..
that would be all that I have.. although I would highly suggest getting the thicker rotors like the powerslot cross drilled or slotted.. They resist fade a lot more..

Thanx! Well I'm just in the research pahse right now, I'm finding out some really cool stuff about what's compatible with what... I'm amazed at the things I've found already! I'll keep my head up and my eyes open, but yeah, I think I"m going to try for vented cross-drilled rotors!
Thanx again!

I would be leary of cross drilled if you are going to drive this everyday, as if your brakes are hot and get a shot of water or something they'll have a tendency to crack. And that's not covered under the warranty for rotors..
Go with the slotted..
