so i got my exaust done today, had a muffler shop run 2.5'' pipe from the cats to my megan racing mufflers, got them to eliminate resonator and use much better flowing bends than the stock pipe. overall im very happy with the system, having just under 300dollars in it i know i could not of got any better performance from a preassembled cat-back, simply cause these guys did a good job... But yeah driving downtown today my car was setting off car alarms... Im not quite sure why, i mean its loud yeah... but its not like honda civic sounding or anything, i guess its the low rumble that gets them

 

yea mine and my friends stealth do the same we do it to each other on purpose sometimes. but our alarms are soo sensitive, if someone with a system or loud exhaust drives by it goes off. i think its just the vibrations that the exhaust makes.

 

Yeah i have the same problem but the thing is, is that with any aftermarket muffler or anything you do to your exhaust is going to make it louder or deeper or both ..so you set off a few alarms..I take it as a compliment haha..we all know our Z's do not sound anything like honda's..I say that the Z is probably one of the best sounding cars on the road..Thats just my two cents...but yeah i wouldn't worry about it..at least I know that the police arent going to pull me over for it being loud..they look for all the ricers with the huge can sounding like Vin Deisle going through puberty

my **** may be slo but its sooo loud when i first start it up.

After a day of work the car was cold in the parking garage...i look to my right and see these to kids running around int eh parking garage (im thinking they have some great parents ) but i waite and fire my bad boy up right as the lil girl is behind me...and omg lol...she jumped so high in the air then started crying...lol the lil boy was scared shitless too... thats what those lil bougers get. Shouldhave stayed by there parents. Yeah im a bully...
