Car won't Start... Overheat...

My car wont start and its stressing me out... Let me start from the beginning... I was driving to work and then I noticed some light smoke coming from my engine and then a block later was where I work. I then parked to check it out... AFter it cooled down, I poured in water and saw it leak to the bottom.. Then I removed the fan and looked at my radiator hose and saw a rip in it. I then replaced the hose, but when I tried to start my car it wouldn't start... Can someone help me out? I think my car overheated and something broked... but what? Any advice would help...thanks...

I don't wanna ruint it not sure if I'm correct but when it over heated if it went all the way up and you turned it off andjut let it cool completlydown youmight have some valve problems... correct me if I'm wrong it's just from what I've heard.

Does the engine crank over but it won't fire up? Or, is it like you have a dead battery and it just goes "click"?
Check your oil for any signs of water on the dipstick and check your coolant for a milky looking color.
