Chirping Sound While Driving

To stop the chirping from the hood, you'll have to open it first. Then you'll have to locate two rubber stoppers at either end of the engine bay, right up front at the corners. These stoppers twist up or down. Be careful because depending on the age of your car, these could break.

As far as your squeak/chirping from the back of the car is concerned, keep searching. You'll find it. It sounds like you have a loose interior panel or maybe you have something in the spare tire well that's rubbing against the bare metal or tire that makes noise while you're moving.

Try having someone else drive (I know it's hard to let someone else drive, but give it a chance if you want to fix your problem) while you look for the noise. It might ultimately just be your suspension trying to tell you something. Maybe you're in need of new springs and/or shocks.

Oops, I forgot. I was gonna include a pic to show the location of the adjustable rubber stoppers.
Look for the white arrows just above the headlights.
