Clutch adjustment
I'm looking at a few writeups people have done but I'm still a little confused. The clutch gets harder to press down when I move it about a quarter inch away from the two side by side switches with the threaded adjustments. The clutch also feels like it is engaging high and I'm worried it isn't fully engaging and might be slipping. Doesn't seem to have symptoms of slipping. I just worry.
They says you're not supposed to have much free play at the top end of clutch travel. What I have is great if that's what it really is but I'm having trouble being able to tell the difference between free play from the end of clutch engagement and a pedal that is only looser at the top of travel because it hasn't contacted anything else yet. It doesn't do anything for so long when the clutch travel is down low and I feel like the clutch isn't done engaging when the clutch pedal gets to this "free play" area. There's just no distance to it. Does anybody have any ideas or know if this is good/bad?
