Clutch Ho prob
I had the master cylinder replaced becuase it wasnt working right. The car sat for like 2 months and the fluid leaked out becuase i have a leaky hose. I put fluid in it, how do i pump the clutch back up so it doesnt stay down the whole time. This is an 86 but no one answered me in there and im sure its thesame in all the cars. The clutch is good it is rarley new, like 4-6 months, and the master is like 3 months old, if that old. But the fluid drained out becuase the hose was a little leaky. IT is holding fluid thou, but its not pumping ino the clutch.

First you need to bleed the system, you should have experience from doing this when you replaced the MC. Keep bleeding the system and it should work afterward. I suggest replacing the hose. It could also be your slave cylinder(if you have one)...common to go out.

you need a friend to help you out...when i bled my clutch i had a friend of mine press the clutch as i opened the valve, which got rid of all the air out of the line, leaving the clutch with nice firm feeling

Yes, there is. They work about as well as you'd expect to have them work for $3. If you have a friend to help, it's much better. If you don't, then not only do I feel sorry for you, but the bleeder does make it easier. All in all, it's still a crappy experience.
