crank question

crank question

i need to find out if the crank for a tt is or is not the same as a na crank. i found one for like 75.00 shiped.any ways if any one knows befor i can call nissan it would help a lot

it is NOT the same for NA's and TT's AFAIK

if it's $75 shipped, it's not any aftermarket crank that he'll want to put in his car.

of course not everyone has my mentality "Go big or go home"

now correct me if i am wrong but i believe the crank is the same NA vs. TT the difference being pistons/con rods. now the max torque/horses that a stock crank can take...i couldnt tell you. but more probable the piston rings, pistons, con rods or crank bearings would go before the crank would. Something to think about

Kyle over at import parts pro currently has a really good crank shaft pulley and belts on his grand opening sale for like 125... It's the ASP. I talked to him about it, the only difference between the ASP and the unorthodox is that the Unorth. is 1/2 a lb ligther and he said that honestly, they add pretty much the same amount of horsepower....

He wasn't asking about the crank pulley. He was asking about the crankshaft.....big difference.
