do a rebuild or buy a long block?

Hi all, this is my first post, let me start by saying that i am a licenced tech here in canada and have very good knowledge of automotive systems. i have owned a n/a z32 for 5 yrs recently bout a 92 lhd tt 2 yrs ago, been driving it and have always love the z32's, done a few mods to the tt, z1 street clutch, light weight
flywheel, one piece drive shaft, full turbo back exhuast with test pipes, cold air intake. The car is in great condition, bought it off a guy that had to many toys sitting around, it was in a garage for about 5 yrs, getting 1000km a yr on it, absolutly had to have it when i saw it, like most all z's lots of things were neglected on it, did a full 120k service on it, runs perfectly, except when it sits for more than 2 days, it smokes quite bad for the first 10 min or so, blue oil smoke, did a compression test on it tonight and found all cyl were quite low, all were at 110-115psi, didnt have an oil can to do a wet test but from the way it smokes when its cold id say that the rings are tired and worn, so here is the question, i have a great running engine that needs pretty much everything a normal z enthusiast would do to it, egr delete, water pipes under intake etc, would like to get a feel of what ppl would do in this situation, the goal will be to have around 400-450 whp, with the option to go for more down the road should i feel like it, would you go with a ultimate rebuild kit like the one z1 has and get upgraded connecting rods and then just get cams and the rest, or bite the bullet and go with a stage 2 or 3 long block? budget is somewhere around 10k, probably more because like all projects theres always something to take your money away. leave some replies, would really appreciate anything you have to say, also more than likely going to go with a haltech standalone ecu, wideband, map, etc,
