Has anyone had a problems with the doors not locking? I lock the doors from the inside when i get out, it locks both pass. and drivers doors but when i shut the door it unlocks and you can get right back in. i know there was an issue witht he factory door locks locking and unlocking on there own, could this be my problem?

Try holding up the door handle as you close the door. What you are describing is a feature to help prevent you from locking your keys in the car.

which never helps me one bit. I always get so used to keeping the keys in my hands that I'll leave them anywhere and hold my handle anyway. I've locked them in the car 3 different times.

Lol my car is evil sometimes... once it locked while I was pumping gas, I forgot and shut my door and 30 secs later beep.. , mine locks automatically 30 seconds after the door is opened then shut unless the keys are still in the ignition then it waits 30 minutes then locks

Edit: ehehe post 222

Thats what i thought it was, as my name says this is my first import but quckily comming around. I love this car. I did end up getting it to lock but aparently the driver side door lock isn't working properly. It will not lock with the key. I'll have to look into that one. Soon to have picks up this week

I think thats what i'm going to end up doing insted of fixing the outside lock. Checked it out last night when i was changing out the door speakers. The linkage and the sensor are broken, already had an aftermarket door lock put in. I also found out why the one sounded like ****. Ever seen a speaker repaired with nail polish?
