Drilled or drilled & slotted rotors
Which rotor is better for normal (high speed) driving? I have a 93 5sp NA w/ 117K, I normally downshift to slow down and use my brakes sparingly.
Which rotors are better as stock replacements, cross drilled or cross drilled and slotted?
Certain manufacturers claim that excessive cross drilling reduces the integrity of the rotor but others claim that the slotted rotors reduce brake pad life by cutting a new face on the pad each time you brake. Any truth to these claims?
What's with all these suppliers on EBAY selling sets of 4 rotors in the $250 range? They claim the rotors are Brembo. Stillen is twice as much for a set of 4. Can anyone recomend a reputable supplier?

I would deffinately go with Brembo's. Hell if they werent the best, then why most race cars use them? It is true the cross drilling affects the integrity of the rotor itself. But that is not an issue if you arent heavy racing, which I for one dont, and my Cross Drilled work me fine. The slotted is what I would go for If I were heavy racing, less volume removed from the rotor, thus the rotor will be stronger. Well thats what I think, Rizz get your *** in here and help the man! haha, peace.
