Dual Intake in N/A?

Can I replace the single filter intake setup in my N/A for a dual filter intake? And if so any suggestion on parts and how to go about it?

yup, its pretty pointless and alot more money and work. you only need it for a car thats passing more CFM than a single intake can allow... aka high high boost turbo cars.

very true, but the current common usage of "chip" in teh automotive sense typically refers to that crap on ebay. just clarifying a bit.

this single filter talk confuses me, sorry for steallign the thread for a stupid question, but my 1990 has 2 air filters in the usual place. does this mean that this is an upgrade and it originally had only one filter? it looks stock to me.

??? que??? maybe you should post pics. that or you never opened the nose pane; to find that teh 2 intake pipes run into on for the maf and then into the airbox....

the stock airbox has 2 filters in it, but they feed to one MAF, and then split out to the intakes. 2 square filters is a stock setup. the discussion in this thread is about dual cone type filters. single cone setups just replace the airbox with a cone type filter, dual cone filters separate the flows to each intake, except the Ashspec Doolz, which allows for some crossflow.
